Parade Your Program – Cardiac Rehabilitation Creative Display Competition

This World Heart Day (29 September), SOLVE-CHD is inviting cardiac rehabilitation (CR) programs all over Australia to show off their work and raise awareness for heart health with the power of creativity! Craft a visual display – whether physically in your clinic or digitally – and send us a picture of it to enter the Cardiac Rehabilitation Creative Display Competition. Displays will be showcased to the wider community and the one with the most ⭐ votes in the end will win a prize valued up to 400 AUD.

Entries will open on 10 September and close on 3 October, so make sure you Don’t Miss A Beat and get your display ready for World Heart Day. Together we can promote the importance of cardiac rehabilitation, foster connections within our community, and help shape a healthier future.

What is World Heart Day?

Each year, cardiovascular disease (CVD) claims over 20.5 million lives. Most of these premature deaths are preventable through early action and access to health care, so every year on World Heart Day, we unite across the globe to raise awareness, inspire action, and celebrate heart health.

This year, the theme of World Heart Day is ‘Don’t Miss A Beat’. Join the global petition to prioritise heart health today, get involved, and make every heartbeat count!

How to Enter the Creative Display Competition

Note that only CR programs from Australia are eligible for this competition, and each program may submit a maximum of one entry.

Create your visual display. It can be physical (within your clinic) or digital, and should either:

  • Showcase your CR program’s work and impact
  • Raise awareness of cardiac rehabilitation within your service and community
  • Reflect the World Heart Day 2025 theme: ‘Don’t Miss A Beat’

Or any combination of these. Be as creative as you like with your display – decorate your clinic, make a collage, dress up your team members, anything!

Looking for more inspiration? Check out Heart Week 2025!

Take a clear picture (or several) of your display. Accepted formats are JPG, PNG, GIF, and the file size should not exceed 20 MB.

Submit your picture(s) to us via the link below. Note that you will need to provide a short description about your display (100 words) and we will upload your picture(s) to a public polling platform so that everyone can vote for their favourite displays.

Submissions will open on 10 September and close on 3 October. Entries will be viewable on PollUnit during this time.

Winners & Prizes

The top two displays with the most votes will be the winners of the Creative Display Competition. The programs of these winning displays will each receive either:

  • Free registration for the ICCPR Cardiac Rehabilitation Foundations Certification (CRFC) course for up to two clinicians in their team (valued at 125 USD per course, so up to 250 USD or 400 AUD in value).
  • If all clinicians in the winning program have already completed the CRFC course, the team will receive a gift card of equivalent value instead to support their clinic.

Note that if there are a lot of entries, we will also increase the number of winning displays.
